Day 1 Arrival in Edinburgh
Welcome to Edinburgh, the historic capital city of Scotland known for its medieval architecture, rich culture and stunning landscapes. Upon arrival at Edinburgh Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. After settling in and relaxing for a while, the evening is free for leisure. You may explore the lively Edinburgh city centre, stroll along the historic streets, or enjoy local cafés and restaurants. Edinburgh offers a charming blend of historic landmarks and modern culture. Overnight stay in Edinburgh.
Day 2 Edinburgh City Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed on your own to the departure point for the Hop-On Hop-Off city bus tour, which is one of the best ways to explore the city’s major attractions. During the tour, you will visit famous landmarks such as Edinburgh Castle (entry not included), the historic Royal Mile, the impressive Scott Monument, and several other iconic sites.
In the afternoon, you may choose to visit The Royal Yacht Britannia, the former royal yacht of Queen Elizabeth II, which is now a popular tourist attraction. After a day of sightseeing, return to your hotel. Overnight stay in Edinburgh.
Day 3 Loch Lomond & Stirling Excursion
After breakfast, proceed to the departure point for a full-day tour to Loch Lomond, Stirling and Glengoyne Distillery. Your journey begins with a visit to Stirling Castle, one of Scotland’s most historically significant castles and a favorite residence of the Stuart kings where Mary Queen of Scots was crowned.
The tour continues through the scenic countryside of the Trossachs National Park, known for its forest-covered hills, peaceful lochs and breathtaking natural beauty. Enjoy stunning views along the route before reaching the famous Loch Lomond, the largest freshwater lake in Great Britain. Later return to Edinburgh in the evening. Overnight stay in Edinburgh.
Day 4 Edinburgh – Inverness
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer yourself to the railway station to board your train to Inverness, the capital of the Scottish Highlands. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and check in.
Later you may opt to visit the legendary Loch Ness, one of Scotland’s most famous lakes known for the mythical Loch Ness Monster. You may also enjoy a scenic boat ride on Loch Ness and visit the historic Urquhart Castle, which offers spectacular views over the lake. Return to Inverness in the evening. Overnight stay in Inverness.
Day 5 Isle of Skye Excursion
After breakfast, proceed to the departure point for a full-day excursion to the Isle of Skye, one of Scotland’s most beautiful islands. Known for its dramatic landscapes, rugged mountains and breathtaking coastline, the Isle of Skye is a paradise for nature lovers.
During the tour, you will pass through stunning scenery, picturesque villages and historic sites while learning about the island’s unique culture and heritage. After exploring the island and enjoying its spectacular views, return to Inverness in the evening. Overnight stay in Inverness.
Day 6 Inverness – Fort William
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer yourself to the railway station to board your train to Fort William, a charming town located at the foot of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the United Kingdom.
Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and check in. The rest of the day is free for leisure where you can explore the surrounding natural beauty, enjoy scenic walks or simply relax while admiring the breathtaking landscapes of the Scottish Highlands. Overnight stay in Fort William.
Day 7 Fort William – Glasgow
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer yourself to the railway station to board your train to Glasgow, Scotland’s largest city. Known for its vibrant arts scene, historic architecture and lively shopping districts, Glasgow offers a unique cultural experience.
Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and check in. The evening is free to explore the city centre, visit local attractions or enjoy shopping at Glasgow’s famous retail streets. Overnight stay in Glasgow.
Day 8 Departure from Glasgow
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Glasgow Airport for your return flight home.
