Day 1 Arrival at Zurich – Lucerne

Arrive at Zurich International Airport from India. After completing immigration and customs formalities, proceed to the railway station to board a direct Swiss train to Lucerne, often referred to as the “City of Lights”. Upon arrival, explore Lucerne’s most iconic attractions including the Chapel Bridge, Lion Monument, Old Town squares, and the beautiful Lake Lucerne promenade. Enjoy the charming Swiss atmosphere at your own pace.

Overnight stay: Lucerne

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and store your luggage. Begin the spectacular Golden Round Trip to Mount Pilatus. Ascend via the world’s steepest cogwheel railway to Pilatus Kulm (2,132 meters) for breathtaking panoramic views. Descend using the Dragon Ride aerial cableway and panoramic gondolas to Kriens, followed by a bus ride back to Lucerne. Later in the day, board a scenic train to Interlaken, the adventure capital of Switzerland.

Overnight stay: Interlaken

Today enjoy a full-day excursion to the legendary Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe, situated at an altitude of 3,454 meters. Travel via the modern Eiger Express tricable gondola from Grindelwald Terminal to Eiger Glacier, followed by the historic Jungfrau Railway to Europe’s highest railway station. Explore the Ice Palace, snow fields, and observation decks offering stunning views of the Aletsch Glacier. This is one of the most memorable highlights of the tour.

Overnight stay: Interlaken

After breakfast, check out and take a scenic train journey to the car-free mountain village of Zermatt. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and later proceed for the Gornergrat excursion by cogwheel railway. At an altitude of 3,089 meters, enjoy panoramic views of the Matterhorn, Monte Rosa, and surrounding snow-capped peaks.

Overnight stay: Zermatt

Enjoy a day trip to the beautiful Aletsch Arena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the Aletsch Glacier, the largest glacier in the Alps. This peaceful, car-free region offers breathtaking views of the Jungfrau, Matterhorn, and Mont Blanc. Spend time enjoying nature walks, scenic viewpoints, and optional activities such as mountain carts and interactive glacier museums before returning to Zermatt.

Overnight stay: Zermatt

After check-out, board the legendary Glacier Express, one of the world’s most scenic train journeys. Travel for approximately 8 hours, crossing 291 bridges, 91 tunnels, and the Oberalp Pass at 2,033 meters. Enjoy panoramic windows showcasing untouched Alpine landscapes. Guests may optionally upgrade to Excellence Class for a luxury rail experience (supplement applicable).

Overnight stay: St. Moritz

Check out from the hotel and travel by train to Zurich. Visit the famous Lindt Home of Chocolate, featuring the world’s largest chocolate fountain, interactive chocolate museum, multimedia exhibits, and the largest Lindt chocolate shop. This experience is a delight for all age groups. Later, check in at your hotel.

Overnight stay: Zurich

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. You may return to Zurich Airport, any Swiss border, or choose to extend your stay in Switzerland at your own leisure.
